Hotel Zachary

project overview

Hotel Zachary is a boutique hotel located across the street from the iconic Wrigley Field. Named after Wrigley Field architect Zachary Taylor Davis, the hotel was designed to contribute to a new wave of baseball-adjacent experiences in Wrigleyville. The aesthetic we delivered in the hotel’s branding was intended to feel premium and modern with a nod to the history behind its namesake (and also drop some subtle hints of baseball).

what I did

visual language / brand elements / collateral / bar & lounge branding

The hotel's bar and lounge was named after Zachary Taylor Davis' wife, Alma. I developed a custom logotype that helped the lounge's branding connect to the greater hotel identity but also allowed it to stand on its own.
